Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Ground beef
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 packages ravioli 13 oz each
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese or grate fresh
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • Additional parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • Cook Ravioli according to package directions.
  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
  • Roughly dice the onion.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat add the onion, ground beef and garlic and cook until the meat is fully cooked.
  • Spray the casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add a thin layer of tomato sauce to the bottom of the casserole dish.
  • Add the remaining tomato sauce and spices to the meat mixture and combine.
  • Add the ravioli to the casserole dish and cover with the meat sauce mixture.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes till the casserole is bubbling and heated through and the cheese is melted.
  • Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes till the cheese is bubbly and browned.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
