1 1/2 pounds Ground beef 1 Tablespoon olive oil 1 onion 3 cloves garlic minced 2 packages ravioli 13 oz each 24 ounces pasta sauce 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese or grate fresh 1/3 cup parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika Additional parmesan cheese for serving
Cook Ravioli according to package directions.
Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
Roughly dice the onion.
In a skillet over medium-high heat add the onion, ground beef and garlic and cook until the meat is fully cooked.
Spray the casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Add a thin layer of tomato sauce to the bottom of the casserole dish.
Add the remaining tomato sauce and spices to the meat mixture and combine.
Add the ravioli to the casserole dish and cover with the meat sauce mixture.
Top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes till the casserole is bubbling and heated through and the cheese is melted.
Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes till the cheese is bubbly and browned.
Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
