Easy King cake recipe

- 1 package refrigerated Pillsbury cinnamon rolls 8 count
- 1/2 cup colored sugar yellow, purple, and green sanding sugar
Take your cinnamon rolls out of the of the package and unroll each cinnamon bun.
Take two strips of cinnamon roll and twist them together, repeat this with all the pieces.
Take two of the twists and squeeze the ends together so you make an oval. Take the next 2 twists and form an oval. You will end up with 2 oval cakes.
Place the uncooked dough on a sheet pan and bake until golden brown, about 10 - 15 minutes.
As soon as you remove the cake from the oven spread the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls on the tops of the cake.
In one inch sections sprinkle the colors from purple to yellow to green all the way around the cakes.
