Butter slime is an amazing slime that has a butter-like texture that is not only fun to play with but great for molding. There is no butter to be found in butter slime and it is not as stretchy as traditional slime, but it is one of our favorites slimes to make! This easy to make butter slime recipe is perfect for the kids!

Ingredients

  • 4 fl oz Elmer’s Clear Glue
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Contact Solution
  • Clay

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl stir together the glue and baking soda with a rubber spatula.
  • Stir in half of the contact solution and see if it is stiff enough if not add the remainder of the solution.
  • Take the slime out and begin kneading with both of your hands.
  • Once you have made your preferred slime and made it the color you want, it is time to turn that slime into butter slime.
  • Then all you do is knead the clay into your slime! You are going to have to put some umph behind mixing your clay with your slime as you get the clay mixed into the slime to make butter slime.
  • It takes a little bit of work, but well worth it. The softer the clay the easier it is to turn slime into butter slime.
