  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Line two sheet pans with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and salt, set aside.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together on medium speed until light and fluffy about 5 minutes.
  • Mix in the molasses until combined.
  • Add in one egg at a time, making sure each egg is incorporated before adding the next egg.
  • Turn the mixer down to low and slowly add in the flour just until all the flour is combined.
  • Take a tablespoon worth of dough and roll in into a ball, repeat with all the dough.
  • Place the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Place the balls on the baking sheet about an inch apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the tops start to crack.
  • Move them to a cooling rack until completely cool.
