  • Start cooking your rice according to the package. You will want to have 2 cups of cooked rice total for this recipe.
  • Combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, oil, pepper flakes, sesame seeds and ginger together in a small bowl.
  • Cook the ground beef and garlic in a pan over medium heat. Making sure you break up the beef as it cooks. If you are wanting to add veggies to the mixture then you will want to do that here.
  • Once you have browned the beef add the sauce to the pan and mix well. Continue to cook the korean ground beef for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the pan for the heat and stir in some of the the green onions.
  • In a bowl put 1/2 cup of rice, then top the rice with the koren ground beef mixture and sprinkle with green onions.
