Bacon wrapped scallops are the perfect appetizer or side dish. You can totally make them the main dish to, they are so easy to make with just 3 ingredients.

1 pound apple wood smoked bacon 8 slices 16 scallops 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Rinse your scallops under cold water. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and then remove any of the extra side muscle that might be on them.
Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each scallop with 1/2 strip of bacon.
Skewer 5-6 bacon-wrapped scallops per skewer.
Sprinkle with smoked paprika, seasoning both sides.
Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes.
Flip the skewers over and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes.
Scallops are done cooking when they are opaque and tender.
