Looking for a new snack to make this holiday season? This Slow Cooker Chex Snack Mix Recipe is the perfect recipe for any occasion. It's easy to prepare and you can have a batch cooking in the slow cooker with just a few minutes of prep! With only 9 ingredients for this crockpot chex mix, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy your family and friends during the holidays or any party you are having!
In a small bowl or a measuring cup add the butter and heat in 30 second increments in the microwave to melt it.
Once the butter is melted, add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and garlic into the melted butter and stir well. I find it best to use a whisk.
Add the cereal, pretzels, and cashews to the slow cooker.
Slowly pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and then stir, be sure you mix well to coat everything in the butter and seasoning mixture.
Place the slow cooker cover on making sure you leave the lid cracked a little bit and cook on low for 3 hours, stirring every hour so that the mixture does not burn.
After cooking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or silicone mat. Pour the cooked chex party mix onto the baking sheet and spread the mixture out onto a sheet pan until it cools to room temperature.
