Ingredients

  • 1-1 ½ cups water
  • 12 chilled raw eggs

Instructions

  • Pour the water into the instant pot. Place the trivet on top of the water. The water should be right below the trivet.Place eggs on top of the trivet and close the lid to the instant pot.
  • Check the pressure valve and make sure it is set the pressure valve is set to “sealed”. Cook on manual (pressure cook) for 5 minutes.
  • Once the timer goes off, let the pressure release naturally (natural pressure release) for 5 minutes and then carefully flip the pressure valve to release the rest of the pressure.Open the lid and remove the eggs.
  • In a large bowl add water and ice.
  • Place the eggs in the large bowl with ice and water (Also knowns as an ice bath) to cool them for 5 minutes.
  • Once the eggs are completely cooled, you can peel the shell or place them in the refrigerator for later use.
