Oreo Dirt Cup pudding Parfaits

Oreo Dirt Cup pudding Parfaits are an easy-to-make dessert that both kids and adults will love. Layers of chocolate pudding, crushed Oreo cookies, and then topped with gummy worms this dirt cup recipe is so easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 3 3.9 ounce boxes Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 8 ounces whipped topping thawed
  • 48 Oreo Cookies Crushed you can use store brand chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 36 candy gummy worms if only putting them on the top. If you are adding gummy worms inside the pudding cups then you will need 72 gummy worms.
  • 18 Individual Serving cups. I used 4-ounce sized plastic cups for this recipe.

Instructions

  • Put the container of whipped topping on the counter for 15 minutes to thaw.
  • While the cool whip is thawing on the counter add the instant chocolate pudding powder and 3 cups of milk to a large mixing bowl.
  • Using a whisk mix the milk and instant pudding mixture together for 2 minutes and then let sit in the bowl for 5 minutes.
  • Add the whipped topping to the pudding mixture by carefully folding it into the pudding.
  • Crush the Oreo Cookies and set the crushed Oreos aside.
  • Take individual serving cups or bowls and spoon a layer of the Oreo crumb mixture into each cup. If desired, you can add gummy worms on top of the crumb layer to make it look like worms in the dirt. Press them slightly into the crumb mixture.
  • Spoon a layer of the chocolate pudding mixture on top of the crumb layer in each cup, covering the gummy worms (if added).
  • Repeat the layering process, adding another layer of Oreo crumbs followed by a chocolate pudding layer until you reach the top of the cups for each cup making the last layer a layer of cookie crumbles.
  • Top each of the dirt pudding cups with 2 gummy worms.
  • Chill until ready to serve.
