Instructions

  • Core the apples with an apple corer, or a knife and metal spoon, use a spoon to dig out any seeds that may have been missed when coring. If you want to have a lot of filling be sure to make the hole in the apple bigger so you can get all of your filling inside.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350℉.
  • Add the butter to a small bowl and melt in the microwave.
  • Brush the insides and tops of the apples gently with a small amount of butter.
  • In a medium sized bowl add the oats, brown sugar, rest of the melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg and stir well to combine.
  • Spoon the filling into the inside of each apple.
  • Preheat the air fryer and then once it is preheated, spray with non stick cooking spray or carefully place a piece of parchment paper on the air fryer tray.
  • Place the filled apples in your air fryer basket that’s preheated to 350℉ and air fry for about 18 minutes.
  • Allow to cool slightly, add whipped cream, and enjoy!
