Wash your salmon and pat dry and place on a plate.
In a small bowl mix paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, onion powder, cumin and chili powder.
Rub the dry mixture on top of the salmon and set salmon aside.
Dice the avocado and slice the onion and add to a small bow.
Add the lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the bowl with avocado and onions.
Place the bowl in the fridge while you cook your salmon.
Grill your salmon on medium heat for 12-15 minutes. You will know it is completely cooked when it flakes easily with a fork.
Once the salmon is cooked cut the salmon into 6 piece and place each on a plate.
Top the piece of grilled salmon with a scoop of avocado onion salsa.
