Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3 apples chopped into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 8 slices Bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vanilla extract Optional

Instructions

  • Heat up the griddle to medium high heat.
  • Rinse and chop apples in to bite size pieces.
  • Mix apples, cream cheese and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl mix eggs and milk. If you are going to add a little vanilla extract then you will want to add it in here.
  • Put mixture on one piece of bread and put another piece of bread on top.
  • Dip bread into egg and Milk mixture, make sure both sides are covered.
  • Grease the pan or griddle with non stick cooking spray or butter.
  • Place the stuffed french toast on the griddle and cook for 2 minutes until golden brown. Once the first side is cooked flip and cook the other side. Repeat until all of them are cooked.
