Oven Baked Rice

Making baked rice in the oven is the easiest and fastest way to get perfect fluffy rice with only 4 ingredients needed. This easy rice recipe will give you perfect rice every time!

  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 2 1/3 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Spread rice in a 8 x 8 inch baking dish and top the rice with the butter.
  • Bring water to boil in the microwave.
  • Once boiling, stir in salt and pour water over rice.
  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in the oven.
  • Bake for 1 hour, until tender.
  • Remove baking dish from oven and uncover. Fluff rice with fork.
