  • 52 ounces ultra pasteurized milk
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt


  • Pour 2 tablespoons of the milk and the yogurt into the pot of your instant pot. Whisk it together to make sure there are no lumps.
  • Add in the rest of the milk and stir well.
  • Add in the vanilla extract if you would like to make it vanilla flavored.
  • Place the lid with the vent open on the instant pot. Turn it on yogurt for eight hours.
  • Once the time is up do not stir it, place it in the fridge for an hour until chilled.


If you are wanting to sweeten or flavor the yogurt you can using either one of these options with the recipe.
1 can sweeten condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
