  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Cut the apples in half, remove the cores, and cut them into thin apple slices.
  • Take the puff pastry out of the freezer and let it sit for 5-6 minutes to soften.
  • Lay greaseproof paper on your kitchen counter, place the puff pastry dough sheets on it and stick the dough by pressing the joints with your fingers.
  • Cover it with wax paper and Roll out the dough according to the size of a round mold you want with a rolling pin. ( I used 11-12 inch mold.)
  • Place the sliced apples in the center of dough.
  • In a small bowl mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle the apples with walnuts and hazelnuts.
  • Then with the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  • Fold the pastry dough on the edges over the fruits, This doesn't need to be a perfect crust shape, just do it as it works.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
