Cranberry Granola Bars

  • Grease two 9-by-5-Inch Loaf Pans with butter. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place the oats, almonds and flax seeds on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium sauce pan combine the honey, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt over medium heat until the brown sugar completely dissolved.
  • Once the oats come out of the oven stir them into the honey mixture along with the cranberries. Divide the mixture into the two pans and press the mixture down.
  • Place them in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  • Cut into 1.5 inch wide slices and store in an airtight container for up to a week.
