This homemade blueberry bread is amazing. This moist blueberry quick bread recipe is loaded with blueberries and full of flavor. My family loves it for breakfast and snacks. Ingredients

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. and grease a 9×4 inch pan and set the pan aside.
  • If using fresh blueberries rinse the blueberries and set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter and sugar. On medium-high speed mix until they are creamed together and light and fluffy.
  • Then add in the egg vanilla, and butter and continue mixing until well combined.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl add the flour and baking powder and whisk together.
  • Check the blueberries to see if they are dry if they are still wet from being rinced off, use a paper towel and dry them.
  • Then add 1/4 cup of the flour mixture to the blueberries and gently mix to coat the blueberries in the flour.
  • Add the remaining flour mixture and the milk to the wet ingredients in the stand mixer and mix to combine.
  • Once the wet ingredients and dry ingredients are combined pour the blueberries into the batter and using a rubber spatula fold the berries gently into the bread batter.
  • Pour the blueberry bread batter into the greased baking pan.
  • Bake the bread for 50 – 55 minutes until the bread os fully baked. Use a toothpick to check for doneness when it comes out mostly clean when inserted into the middle of the bread loaf the bread is done.
  • Remove the bread from the pan if desired and let cool on a cooling wire rack. You can leave the bread in the baking pan to cool as well.
