Tis the season for a yummy holiday coffee and I hate having to take up extra room in my fridge with that fake coffee creamer. So I came up with my own way to make my holiday drinks and I LOVE my Homemade Peppermint Mocha. If you are having this drink every day you don’t have to go all out with the crushed candy canes and whipped cream but i totally won’t judge you if you do! To make your own crushed candy cane pieces just place a candy cane in a ziptop and crush with a rolling pin. It is a great way to get out some stress if you want to beat the candy cane up with a spoon too 😉
Homemade Peppermint Mocha
Homemade Peppermint Mocha Ingredients
- peppermint extract
- 1 cup of coffee
- 1/8 to 1/4 cup of cream
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
- whipped cream
- crushed candy cane pieces
- mini chocolate chips
Homemade Peppermint Mocha Directions
Add a drop of peppermint extract to you mug that hold it upside down over the sink to get rid of the extra extract. Mix your coffee, cream, syrup in your mug. Top it with the whipped cream, candy cane pieces and chocolate chips. Enjoy!
