Jalapeno Jack CheeseBurger with Picante Mayonnaise
Summer is right around the corner and that means grilling season! One of my favorite things to make is burgers, there are times though that same plain burger over and over and spicing up your burger is a great way to still have one of the best summer foods but change up the flavors:) These are also great with Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries and for dessert these Brownie Cookies are amazing!
Jalapeno Jack CheeseBurger with Picante Mayonnaise Ingredients:
4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
4 large Hamburger Buns
1/2 cup Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Picante Sauce
1 1/2 lb Ground hamburger meat
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Chili Powder
1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp fresh Ground Pepper
Worcestershire Sauce
Jalapeno Slices (to taste)
sliced Red Onion (optional)
sliced Tomato (optional)
Iceberg Lettuce (optional)
Jalapeno Jack CheeseBurger with Picante Mayonnaise Directions
Take your ground beef and divide it into 4 6 oz piece and then form your burgers patties
In a bowl get your dry ingredients and mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mix on both sides of each hamburger patty. In a small bowl mix the mayonnaise and picante sauce in a small bowl until well blended. Set aside. Cook your burgers, my favorite way is on the grill but you could cook them on a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Then cook them the rest of the way to the way you like your burgers. Once your burgers are cooked place one slice of cheese on each burger and let the cheese melt. Apply a think layer of picante mayonnaise to both sides of bun. Add your lettuce, tomato and onion (as desired) then place your patty on the bottom bun and toppings, top your burger with jalapeno slices and then put the top of the bun on top.
