Patriotic Marshmallow Pops

These patriotic marshmallow pops are sure to be a great hit at any fourth of July party! They are very simple to make but look like that took you forever. If you would like to learn how to use a double boiler to melt chocolate check out here.  The jumbo stars on top of the marshmallows might be a little on the tricky sanctify you can find them on Amazon or at a local craft store. Make sure you also check out the Red White and Blue Oreos they go perfect with these Patriotic Marshmallow Pops!

Patriotic Marshmallow Pops Ingredients

  • lollipop sticks
  • marshmallows
  • 1 bag of red candy melts
  • blue and white non perils
  • star sprinkles

Patriotic Marshmallow Pops Directions

Melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave or double boiler according to package directions until they are fully melted. Dip the lollipop sticks into the chocolate and then into the marshmallow. Then dip the marshmallows into the melted candy, turning to cover them completely. Tap the stick on the edge of the container to get of the extra chocolate. Sprinkle with the non perils. Top with the star.  Stand the marshmallows upright in a glass filled with uncooked rice or beans. Put the glass in the fridge until the chocolate has cooled and hardened slightly, about 5 minutes.

Ingredients

    These look great and they actually look profesional made! I like recipes like this that make you look like youre brilliant but really its a breeze to make. This would be fun for kids!
