Tips for Making this Recipe
Lemon Garlic Shrimp is the perfect dish to serve if you are in a rush but wanting an impressive and tasty main dish! Seriously, there are not many dishes that are this easy to make!
There are also a few other other quick short cuts that I take when making this easy lemon garlic shrimp.
I like to use jarred minced garlic but if you want to use fresh garlic and mince it yourself using a garlic press you totally can, you will need 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic. If you want a stronger garlic flavor you can add more garlic, if you like a lighter garlic flavor you can use less garlic.
You can buy shrimp at the grocery store that is already deveined, that is what I buy because I have no desire to spend time deveining shrimp. You can grab the frozen shrimp and let it thaw or you can use fresh shrimp. If I am using frozen shrimp then I take it out of the freezer the night before, let it thaw in the fridge and then just peel it and get started making dinner.
When I am making Lemon Garlic Shrimp for a dinner get together I leave the tails on for presentation. I think they look better when serving to guests. But feel free to take them off when you are making this baked Lemon Garlic Shrimp for a family dinner, I take them off so I don’t have to mess with them when I am eating.
Add some spice. If you want to add a bit of spice you can add 1/2-1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to this sheet pan shrimp recipe.
How to store left overs
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Cooked shrimp will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days if stored properly.
