If you are wanting a super simple side dish then roasted broccoli is perfect! Tender and crispy broccoli that has the most amazing flavor, while only havingi 6 ingredients! It takes only a few minutes to prep and then you just pop it in the oven. It is so simple, you will be making this healthy side dish often because it makes your life so easy.
I love roasting veggies in the oven, they are so simple to make, the ingredients are minimal and they always have amazing flavors. We are big fans of any veggie that I can toss with some spices and then pop in the oven to cook. Most of the time we serve roasted veggies like Lemon Roasted Asparagus, oven roasted carrots, Roasted Cauliflower, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts with our main dishes because they are so easy to make.

Fresh or Frozen Broccoli?
I much prefer using fresh veggies however I know that stocking up on fresh veggies to have them on hand isn’t always possible and they don’t last as long as a bag of frozen broccoli. If you are using frozen broccoli follow the directions the same, but you will want to stir it on the tray while it is cooking 2-3 times and let it cook a little bit longer then if you were using fresh broccoli.

- Broccoli florets
- Olive oil
- minced garlic
- onion powder
- garlic salt
How to Make Oven Roasted Broccoli
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and set aside.
Wash and chop the broccoli and add it to a large bowl.
Next add the olive oil, garlic, onion powder, pepper and garlic salt and mix well.
Pour the broccoli on to the tin foil lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the broccoli is crispy.
