Elf on the Shelf Ideas
Elf on the Shelf is one of my favorite Christmas Holiday Traditions! I love that my kids love their elves. We have been enjoying elf visits for many years and every year the kids and myself get excited that it is time for our elves to arrive. The kids start asking earlier and earlier each year if the elves can come sooner but we stick to December 1 as the Elf arrival date.
I love hearing about everyone I knows elves and the fun they are having, so please share any elf on the shelf ideas that your kids have loved that you have done.

What is Elf on the Shelf?
Elf on the Shelf is a super fun tradition that kids love every Christmas!
At the start of each Christmas season, the elf appears to serve as Santa’s eyes and ears, traveling back to the North Pole each and every night to make a detailed report of the day’s activities.
Every night Santa’s elves take a trip home to share with Santa how the kids of the world are doing. When they arrive back to their child’s home after going back to the North Pole they like to make things fun! Sometimes
Sometimes the Elves do funny things, some times they do tricks, sometimes they bring gifts. It all depends on the day what Elfy fun will come the kids way that they will find in the morning when they wake up!

Elf on the Shelf Arrival Ideas
Now when your Elf arrives you are going to need some easy elf on the shelf arrival ideas. It is also important to make it something that the kids are going to LOVE! There are lots of cute ideas that are perfect for welcoming your elf on the shelf back!
Most years when our Elves come back they bring a letter with a small gift for the kids. Last year it was Kinder Eggs and the year before it was candy canes. This is also a great time to introduce a pet if you are planning on having an Elf Pet join your family.
